US Airways seems to have a strong presence on social media and is now in the process of converting all its haters to @AmericanAir. But don’t worry because they still plan to not give a fuck about you or whatever predicament they put you in.
The cool thing about Twitter these days is you have the opportunity to reach out to companies directly. Granted it’s probably just a marketing intern, but on many occasions I’ve had success tweeting out my concerns. A few weeks back I got a sweatshirt from Fanatics.com where the text was on crooked. Tweet a picture of it to @Fanatics and within minutes I had both an apology and a $20 credit. Awesome work by Fanatics, they didn’t have to do that, but understand how to keep their repeat customers happy.
US Airways on the other hand, DOES NOT GIVE A FUCK. Really chapped some asses here I’m sure because someone tweeted at them with what sounds like a legitimate problem hoping for a resolution similar to mine with Fanatics. They maybe got excited when they saw a notification pop up on their phone from @USAirways. They check it and pow right in the kisser, a kind message from US Airways apologizing… and not giving a fuck.
And they wonder why people get so pissed off they photoshop pictures of US Airway planes flying directly into a chicks butt. 100% chance the guy running US Airway’s Twtter is the banker from South Park.
