The 2 Biggest Pirate Fans Live in San Diego

What an awesome, authentic reaction out of these two boys. They were Cutch’s number one and two fans all night and it was awesome to see Cutch recognize them with an awesome gift at the end of the game.

It’s really unfortunate however that these guys have to live on the other side of the country. Kids their age at PNC hardly have their passion and are more likely to be at the concessions or playground than in the stands rooting for their guy.  If I’m the Pirates I’m putting them center stage in the series finale tonight and making sure to set an example of how to be a fan.

Critics love PNC Park and some even suggest it’s the best. I can agree if we’re talking about empty stadiums but a full house? No way. Yinzers at PNC are WAY more concerned with everything there except the content on the field. If you find yourself in the wrong seat you spend an afternoon watching people walk up and down the stairs and miss most of the game. I need the ushers to usher.

Sure fans in Pittsburgh aren’t getting stabbed like the fans in San Fran and they aren’t heckled like in Philly but in those places the fans at least demonstrate a reverence for the game. Fans wait for an at-bat to end for returning to their seat.

Be better Bucs fans. Be better.
