Hockey Night Punjabi Is The Only Way to Watch Games Going Forward

Full disclosure, some of my favorite Pirates highlights are the Kang Bombs broadcast from Korea.

Needless to say, when I stumbled upon a “Hockey Night In Canada” broadcast in Punjabi I was hesitant to believe even if the announcers were epic.

Sure we all love Doc, but you can easily think at times even he sounds like he’s speaking a different language. Canada is about to extend its Stanley Cup-less streak to 23 years so we know these guys don’t have a horse in the race and are just pure adrenaline announcing, but is it legit?

We deployed out crack research staff on the case and learned that Punjabi is the third most spoken language in Canada.  WWE has three announce table ringside these days so it would make sense Canada is trotting out a tertiary crew for 1.3% of Canada’s population.

All facts considered, Hockey Night Punjabi is now the official broadcast selection of The Yuppie Yinzer. Now how are we gonna find that on Fios?
