For whatever reason Starling Marte wasn’t an All Star when the rosters were announced Tuesday.  Hope wasn’t loss as he was one of the finalist up for vote for the “final” all star spot. 

The Pirates social media went to the full court press spamming your timeline for votes. 

Yesterday it was announced Brandon Belt edged Starling Marte for the “final” All Star spot.

But never fear because I smelt bullshit and laid out the subsequent details hours before they could take place.

Fast forward less than 24 hours and what do you know….
